Chapter 5: Developing A Global Vision

Apple was found in Cupertino, California in the year April 1, 1976. through out time Apple

started introducing new technology to the world at its finest.

they started introducing handheld devices to the public instead of only computers.

Apples started off with their one store in Cupertino, California, since than they now have

a total of 407 stores world wide. apple has stores on both sides of the map. Most of apples revenue might even come from these foreign countries.these sales overseas are really important to apple. since apple has launched there latest handheld device it must show that apple is doing great, there devices is about to hit in there foreign markets just know, attracting millions of customers.

Chapter 4 : The Marketing Environment

Apple is a famous company known mostly for their handheld devices and also their laptops known as  MacBooks. One of Apples biggest target in the market would be teenagers - adults. most teenagers now a days use iPods to listen to music on the train or busses. they also use them to socialize with friends, go on Facebook, twitter and game apps. University students use iPads, iPhones and MacBooks to quickly record notes. the devices are light as well making it easier to carry around and also well organized. Business people are also intrigued by apple products. All apple products have a business quality that is very useful to communicate with clients easily and easy to finish work efficiently. As for any adult Apple products are efficiently for them to browse the internet, make phone calls and use maps and lots of things. The market has now begun to target little kids such as from pre-k and kindergarden as well by adding apps that can help them progress with education and develop learning skills. due to the touch screen in iPods and iPads its easily for them to use the product. 

Apples enviornmental management is important to them. Apple is always prepared for a new line up of their products. Apple has released new handheld devices ( iPods, iPhones & iPads ) this year, bringing new customers to the market and making formal customers upgrade to these devices consisting of new features and apps.

Apples economic factor might be not as bad, but in other cases it might be pricy for new customers. the prices all depend on the gigs that you want on your device. apple has recently came out with their new devices known as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6Plus, making it affordable to new and formal customers. Apple constantly adds features to their devices that people would like to see. They try to do what they can and serve their customers what they want, making the customers loyal.

Chapter 3 : Ethics and Social Responsibility

There are certain guidelines that all companies follow in order to be cosidered ethical.

A code of ethics is a guideline which each company haste follow in order to help them make the right choices. Apples code of ethics includes many but the main one is the environment.  Apples suppliers are required to provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, act fairly and ethically, and use environmentally resposible practices wherever they make products or perform services for Apple. 

Apple also has Labor and Human Rights, Apple believes all workers in their supply chain deserve a fair and ethical workplace. workers must be treated with the utmost dignity and respect, and suppliers  shall uphold the highest standard of human rights    

Chapter 2: Strategic Planning for Competitive Advantage

Apple, the multinational corporation headquartered located in Cupertino, California has been around since 1976. The founders, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. Apple is known for all its products, mostly for there iPhones and iPads i believe. Apples strategic planning is to get as much customers as they can and give them a new experience with their products that are being introduced into the market. they wish to satisfy their customers in order to gain their loyalty and maybe even attract new ones.

       As you might see as well, in some movies the actors use iPhones, they might not show the logo ( in some they do ) but you do see the design. another strategic of apple is releasing iPhones/iPads or laptops once and than, also updating there IOS servers on these handheld devices, making this attract some new customers to there market.

     Apples competitive at this moment i believe would be samsung. Samsung is the producers of the handheld phone device series known to us as the Galaxy. Samsung produces phone/tv's/and sound systems.Samsung recently released the Samsung Galaxy S5 bringing Apple competition. Apple did not hold back either, they have just launched there iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, as well they have updated there iOS. Thats not all they have done, they have announced and released that there will also be an iWatch coming out early 2015. This new iPhone 6 might bring new customers to apple, due to the size and quality of the phone. it might bring Samsung customers to apples market.

      to sum up strategic planning is that apple will try to gain as much customers. they try to gain new ones by upgrading there devices and improving them in there performance and trying to satisfy customers & new ones swell with there amazing designs. 

Chapter 1 : History and Mission statement

Apple Inc. is a multinational corporation that creates consumer electronics, such as personal computers, computer softwares and commercial servers and is a digital distributer of media content. Apples core product lines are the iPhone smart phones, iPad tablet computer, iPod portable media players and Macintosh computer line. Founders Steve Paul and Steve Wozniak created Apple Computer on April 1, 1976,  and incorporated the company on January 3, 1977, in Cupertino, California.

           Steve Jobs was an american entrepreneur, marketer and also an inventor, who was the co-        founder, chair man and CEO of Apple Inc. Jobs soon left apple and found neXT. neXT was a computer  platform developing company specialized in higher education and business markets. After apple failed to deliver its operating systems, apple turned to neXT, making jobs go back to apple and becoming advisor and CEO of the company, that is how MAC OS X came to be known.

Steve Wozniak is and american inventor, electronics engineer and co founder of Apple Inc.  him and Steve worked together to bring out Apple 1 and apple 2 computers in the late 1970's.

Apples Mission is not very innovative and a mission at all as to some critics. a Widely famous quote Steve jobs announced stated their mission in 1980's, the quote went, "Man is the creator of change in this world. As such he should be above systems and structures, and not subordinate to them." the websites mission is to show accomplishments and list of products.
